A summer holiday in the Algarve this year provided some exciting opportunities to picture some of the more exotic looking plants that would no doubt perish in my own garden. Although a vast array of colours could be seen, the 'hot' pinks, reds and oranges seemed to look the most spectacular against the perfect blue skies.
